From atop the bluffs of the Missouri River Valley, the University of Mary’s main campus at Bismarck, North Dakota, commands stunning vistas of the river bottoms from all directions.

World-famous architect Marcel Breuer was commissioned by the Benedictine Sisters of Annunciation Monastery to design a unique campus using native fieldstone and formed concrete that reflects the simple strength and enduring beauty of the prairie.
