The University of Mary’s Master of Science programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling have received specialized accreditation through the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board

The Department of Education is accredited by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board. The Department of Education has met all standards set forth by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) adopted by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board (ESPB). The last review occurred in March 2021 and the University of Mary’s Education programs received full continued accreditation by the ND ESPB.

Beginning in 2027, candidates must graduate from an academic program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) to be eligible to take the ACSM EP and CEP exams.
