Launch Your Accounting Career Tuition-Free

Our tuition-free Accounting Academy offers our students the opportunity to complete their bachelor's degree in accounting without paying a dime in tuition dollars. Accounting Academy graduates are ethically prepared professionals who will transform the financial environment of any business. 

Compete for Your Spot 

There are a limited number of spots in the Accounting Academy. In February, invited applicants will come to campus, meet current accounting students, and connect with our world-class faculty. Students selected to the Accounting Academy complete their Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree in 2.6 years while studying year-round. Accounting Academy members also complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree through the University of Mary following the completion of their bachelor's degree. Graduates of the Accounting Academy will supercharge their lifetime earnings potential while completing two industry-ready degrees in the time it usually takes to complete one.

The accounting program at the University of Mary combines rigorous education in business and finance with transformative personal development. As part of the Gary Tharaldson School of Business (GTSB), the accounting program integrates the university's Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine values with its concrete education in accounting.

The tuition-free Accounting Academy is a powerful investment in an in-demand field. Accounting Academy Scholars will:

  • Earn your Bachelor's and Master's Degree – and become a CPA – all in 4 Years!
    Accounting Academy students will complete their Bachelor of Science in Accounting tuition-free in 2.6 years using Mary's innovative Year-Round Campus. What’s more, the University has identified corporate partners willing to cover the full cost of an MBA for selected graduates of this program. That would be a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration, completed in 4 years, all tuition-free!
  • Tour Europe
    As an integral part of the Accounting Academy experience, students will experience a study pilgrimage to Europe, with opportunities to explore the roots of international finance. Accounting Academy students will visit Italy, Germany, and France, spending time at the University of Mary’s Rome campus, taking in the colorful sights of Munich, and experiencing the breathtaking French mountain village of Lourdes. This is one of several curated experiences of personal and spiritual transformation in the Academy, and these experiences (lodging, meals, etc.) are entirely funded by donors. Accounting Academy Scholars only pay for some personal meals, their own incidentals, and a prorated fee to help defray some of the costs of getting there and back, like airfare.
  • Receive Direct Admission to Graduate School
    Accounting Academy students move directly from their bachelor's degree to the University of Mary's first-class MBA program, where they get a head start on completing the CPA exam and beginning their business career. 
  • Enjoy Exclusive Employment Opportunities
    Accounting Academy students will collaborate with industry-proven mentors while networking with business leaders from our region and beyond. Because accountants are in such high demand, many of these employers are offering paid internships, signing bonuses, and/or tuition assistance for graduate programs.
