Alumni of the University of Mary can earn up to $10,000 in scholarships toward a graduate degree! This is our largest scholarship, and it's designed for Marauders alumni. Jump into our Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, our Master of Science in Nursing program, or another eligible program to take advantage of this incredible incentive.

The University of Mary offers the General David B. Anderson Military Scholarship to degree-seeking graduate and undergraduate students who are currently serving in the US military. This scholarship can be applied to both online and site-based programs, including any of our satellite locations.

If your son or daughter is currently attending or is a graduate of the University of Mary, you may receive the Family Legacy Scholarship to advance your education at Mary. With this scholarship, you may receive your first class free when you enroll in an eligible University of Mary Online program.

Scholarships by Major

The Anne Carlsen Center gives an admitted graduate student in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology a scholarship of $10,000 per semester in exchange for employment at the Anne Carlsen Center upon completion of the program.

BCBSND has created a $2,500 scholarship for eligible applicants. Several University of Mary students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program receive this scholarship, and students can apply each year of the program.

To be eligible for this scholarship, University of Mary DPT students must:

  • Be a resident of North Dakota
  • Have a GPA of 3.25 or higher

Deadline to apply: October 1 of each year

The Carlie Malm Scholarship is awarded to students traveling with the PT or OT program's annual service trip to Guatemala. More information on the service learning trip can be found here.

Eligible to Apply

  • All students in Mary's physical therapy and occupational therapy programs

JRMC offers scholarship support that covers the full cost of tuition for the student’s entire duration of the athletic training, PT, OT, and speech-language pathology (SLP) programs.

Eligible to Apply:

  • All incoming students of Mary’s MSAT, PT, OT, and SLP programs.

Lone Peak Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic with locations throughout Montana and in Minot, ND. Lone Peak offers $33,270 in forgivable student loans to one PT student with educational and living expenses, with a three-year employment commitment post-graduation. Several University of Mary DPT graduates have advanced to leadership roles within Lone Peak, showcasing its commitment to professional growth.

Lone Peak PT also offers additional student loan agreements valued at up to $15,000 for any University of Mary student who commits to employment with them after graduation. Learn more at their website.

DPT students are eligible to apply for a $1,000 Allied Health Scholarship from Sanford Health. This scholarship is available to students in a wide range of allied health careers. Recipients are not required to commit to current or future work obligations with Sanford Health.

Sanford Health offers the opportunity for students of respiratory therapy to receive financial assistance during the duration of the University of Mary's respiratory therapy program. In return, the student agrees to work for Sanford Health for a predetermined time.

Sanford Health, located in Bismarck, ND, assists athletic training students with the expenses associated with completion of their degree. In return, the student has the opportunity to become employed as an athletic trainer in a full-time status at Sanford Health Bismarck.

Through the University of Mary’s partnership with WICHE, eligible PT and OT students can participate in the Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP). PSEP provides substantial tuition support for eligible students — up to several thousand dollars.
