An Evening of Sacred Music

Each December, we welcome the warmth and radiance of the Advent season with Luminosa: Cappella by Candlelight. Featuring performances from Cappella and area Catholic high school choirs, this yearly sacred music gathering brings Christian educators, student musicians, Mary alumni, and special friends of the university to the Twin Cities for an unforgettable winter evening of festivity and fellowship.

2024 Luminosa: Saturday, December 14

We invite you to join us and Monsignor James Shea, president of the University of Mary, at our fourth annual Luminosa event. Alongside Cappella, choirs from Chesterton MSP, Chesterton Academy of the St. Croix Valley, Holy Family Catholic High School, Saint Agnes School, Unity High School, and Visitation High School will share beautiful Advent and Christmas music. The Boom Island String Quartet will once again be joining us to accompany the choirs.
