Papal Blessings

While in Rome, you can request a Papal Blessing and use any variation of the following examples below. Please stay consistent with the examples, changing only the words in parentheses or where absolutely necessary. They will not bless an unorthodox request.

Examples

His Holiness, Francis, lovingly imparts his apostolic blessing on (Shannon Jangula and Juan Thomas) on the occasion of their wedding. (13 November 2004 - the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit - Bismarck, North Dakota (USA)).
His Holiness, Francis, lovingly imparts his apostolic blessing on (the Wendelin and Elizabeth Wentz Family) as a pledge of divine graces and protection.

For the examples below, they must be on 5 year intervals. It must be 5th, 10th, 25th, etc. It cannot be 7th, 13th or 28th, etc.

His Holiness, Francis, lovingly imparts his apostolic blessing on (George and Alice Seifert), as they celebrate their (60th Wedding Anniversary). (1948 - June 20 - 2008). Married at (Saint Joseph's Catholic Church - Center, North Dakota (USA)).
His Holiness, Francis, lovingly imparts his apostolic blessing on (Andrew Joseph Richter), on the occasion of (his 30th birthday). (1978 - November 28 - 2008).

Request a Papal Blessing

The usual donation for a papal blessing is $70, depending upon the size of the parchment. These requests must be submitted below no later than August 25, 2021, along with sending a check for $70 made out to the University of Mary to:
