Kevin Fishbeck, PhD
Program Director of Cyber Security Administration
I have over 30 years teaching and other work experience in the cyber security arena. I am a Professor at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. I earned my PhD from the University of North Dakota and hold many industry certifications from Microsoft, Comp Tia, Cisco and others. I also own and operate Fishbeck Technology Consulting which provides cyber security services to small businesses.
I was born and raised in Mandan, North Dakota. I attended the University of Mary for my undergraduate degree in computer information systems. After graduating, I worked in education for 15 years. Following that, I went into the industry as a cyber security engineer. After working in the cyber security field, I found myself being drawn back into education and look forward to continuing that here at Mary. I am married and have three children. I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active outdoors.
