About Me

Pax Christi! I was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii, where I lived for most of my life. In 2021, I was blessed to spend 6 months in England and Europe, mostly in Benedictine Monasteries. This opportunity changed the course of my life, and upon returning to Hawaii, I enrolled in Mary Online to complete my undergraduate degree at a Benedictine institution. I'm now on-campus full-time as a residence director whilst working towards my Master of Arts in Catholic Studies! Catholic studies major or not, please reach out and introduce yourself. I'd love to get to know you!

Why I’m At Mary

The University of Mary is the best Catholic University in the country, which makes it the best University in the country. That might seem like a big claim, but there is something special here that can only be found on our campus: an education for the whole of life, firmly grounded in faith and tradition.

Education

In an increasingly secular world marred by division and confusion, the only remedy is the truth of the Gospel. God, who is the truth himself, desires that we come to know Him and trust in Him completely for the salvation of our souls. Now is not a time to lament the fall of that once great era of Christendom enjoyed by generations past; rather, the future of The Church lies in rediscovering the apostolic intensity nurtured through the Sacraments. This Sacramental life starts with us, the laity, recognizing the efficacy of the Sacraments and the deep and subtle joy they bring to the Christian life. Growth in virtue, alongside the pursuit of the good, the true, and the beautiful, is at the heart of both the lay and religious Christian vocation.
