About Me

I am an assistant professor and Chair of the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Department at the University of Mary, where I have worked for the past five years. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Communication Disorders, a master’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology, and my doctorate in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education from the University of Mary.

Why I’m At Mary

I am at Mary as I am passionate about teaching the next generation of speech-language pathologists who are compassionate, ethical, and service oriented.

Expertise

My clinical experience includes early intervention, school-based assessment and intervention, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I have a passion for emergent literacy and supporting children with developmental language disorders.
