About Me
My career and continued educational journey have taken me to a variety of places. I started my teaching career in 2002 at Sullivan Middle School and Shanley High School in Fargo, ND, and then moved to Grand Fork in 2003 and taught English at Grand Forks Central High School for seventeen years. I moved into an administrative role in 2020 at Watford City High School before coming to the University of Mary as the Director of the Doctor of Education program. I first attended the University of Mary for my bachelor’s degree in 2002. I received my master’s in communication in 2007 from the University of North Dakota and my Ed. D from the University of Mary in 2018.
Why I’m At MaryI first attended the University of Mary for my bachelor’s degree in 2002. Then I returned and earned my Ed. D in 2018. University of Mary creates a community that always welcomes you home.
Expertise
My passion for education covers everything from engaging students in the process of reading and writing to providing students with effective instructions. In addition, I continue to research practices that allow teachers to stay in education support their continued growth.
