Travis Herrera
About Me
I am returning to the track and field program at the University of Mary for my third year as an assistant coach after completing my Master's in Business Administration from the University of Mary in 2023. In college, I competed in track and field, where I did pole vault, 400-meter hurdles, 4x400-meter relay, and the decathlon. I coach the decathlon/heptathlon and high jump and assist in the pole vault, 400mH, and javelin. I am passionate about the sport's technical side and strive to learn as much as possible to help the Marauders excel on and off the track.
Why I’m At MaryI came to the University of Mary to explore the coaching world and further my education. I have stayed because of the fantastic coaching staff and student-athletes I interact with daily. I am blessed to have the opportunity to continue to coach and serve these student-athletes, the program, and this institution.
