About Me

I hail from the small town of Norwalk, Ohio, near the shores of Lake Erie. Raised as a pastor’s kid, I experienced conversion to Christ and the Catholic Church early on in my college experience. This transformation led me to seek out a community of believers who wanted to spend their lives in service to Christ. As a result, after college, I served for 4 years as a missionary with Saint Paul’s Outreach (SPO) at the University of Central Florida. Wanting to intentionally serve God and leave no stone unturned, I also intentionally discerned religious life with the Brotherhood of Hope, a community of lay Brothers who serve in campus ministry. After receiving clarity in my call and departing religious life, I began to seek out other opportunities to serve, which led me to the University of Mary. I see it as a great privilege to walk alongside young men as they leave home and begin to grapple with the deep questions of their lives and step into their call to manhood. My hope is that everyone at the University of Mary, but particularly the young men under my care, would come to the fullness of who God created them to be.

Why I’m At Mary

I believe in the vision of the University of Mary. This is a community that forms people in every area of their lives, not just academics. I have a passion for seeing young people come to the fullness of who God created them to be, and here at the University of Mary, we strive for each and every person would encounter the person of Jesus Christ and become equipped to live in the fullness of life, even in the midst of all the challenges of the modern world.
