About Me

I have worked in a few positions at the University. I was the Residence Life GA for the past two years. I also taught a section of English Composition during Block B of the summer semester. I love the University of Mary because of how much it has helped me learn about God, the Church, the human race, and the world. I love the University because it has been home to me for six years, and even before then, it felt like home because it was considered as such by my mother.

Why I’m At Mary

I am at Mary because I feel a desire to give back to this community that has shaped me into the person that I am today. I chose to stay here because I felt valued and seen in my relationships with faculty and staff. I chose to stay here because I believe in the values and Mission of the University.

Expertise

I would hardly consider myself an expert in anything yet, but I am most interested in pursuing a Doctorate in English Literature and Composition and teaching at a Catholic Institution like UMary. The genre of literature that I am most interested in studying and experimenting with is called the Bildungsroman, also known as the coming-of-age novel.
