About Me

I teach students the importance of emergency care and orthopedic injury assessment. I believe that having a solid understanding of anatomy and how the body works will set our AT students up for success in the field when they graduate from the University of Mary. I love that we have numerous resources and instructors with diverse backgrounds and expertise, which enables us to learn and grow from one another. I enjoy working with other professionals, which allows me and students to expand our knowledge, share what ATs can do, and build a network of support to lean on.

Why I’m At Mary

I am at Mary because I want to help grow the profession of Athletic Training. I feel it is a duty to the profession to aid in the development of future ATs entering into the field. It is my hope that my experience as an Athletic Trainer will provide knowledge and insight into what being an AT is about.

Expertise

My areas of interest include emergency care and triage, orthopedic assessment, and hands-on therapy. I am particularly interested in the unique and often overlooked needs of female athletes and how to better protect and serve them through all stages of their lives.
