About Me
Hello! I am Dr. Sonia Takacs, DNP, FNP-BC, founder and provider of SONTAK Family Clinic, PLLC and was born and raised in Mexico. I finished my first college degree in Mexico in 2004 and in 2010, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University, Health Science Center at El Paso, TX. In 2019 I received a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND.
Why I’m At MaryMy spiritual and philosophical beliefs that guide my life and interactions with others, are centered on empathy, respect, and a genuine love for serving others. I strive to positively impact others’ through healthcare service, mentorship, and education. By joining the Nursing Department at the UMary, I hope to instill some of these attributes in the next generation of nursing professionals.
