About Me
I am a licensed athletic trainer with 25+ years of experience in various settings. I have been working at the University of Mary since the fall of 2009. I have worked with various teams at Mary as an athletic trainer. I was full-time faculty, and taught for a few years.
I currently teach undergraduate classes and am currently working with the hockey team. Before my employment at the University of Mary, I worked independently with a professional basketball team, I also worked in a clinic and outreach setting for 12 years.
Why I’m At MaryI enjoy teaching. I try to live by the same values that the University of Mary stands for. I really enjoy the smaller class sizes that are typical at the University of Mary.
Expertise
Along with my athletic training degree, I also maintain certifications as a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Corrective Exercise Specialist. I also attend continuing education courses, which amounts to no less than 25 hours per year.
