About Me

My name is Patrick Kelly, "PK," and I am an Associate Professor of Physics at Mary. I earned my BSc, with honors, at the University of Waterloo. I earned both my MSc and PhD at the University of Toronto. I did postdoctoral research stints in Toronto, Winnipeg, and at MIT after the first two. I have served on the faculty of North Dakota State University, Ave Maria College, and Ave Maria University. In 2017, I joined the University of Mary.

Why I’m At Mary

I very much enjoy interacting with students, faculty, and staff at the university. I appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the development of our natural science programs.

Expertise

My research interests lie in theoretical high-energy/particle physics and gravitation/cosmology. I am also the author of a three-volume series of introductory, calculus-based, physics texts.
