About Me
While my career is an important aspect of my life, I also enjoy life outside of this. My husband and I love to travel and embrace new adventures, and we take pleasure in spending time with friends and family and relaxing at the lake. We currently have three fur babies, a hunting dog, and two cats that provide endless entertainment for us.
Why I’m At MaryWhile completing my graduate degrees at the University of Mary, I was drawn to the level of excellence radiated by both the atmosphere and the professors. I believe there is unlimited potential for learning and growth here, and I was excited to join this amazing organization to be able to positively influence future nurse leaders.
Expertise
During my nursing career over the past 20 years, I have worked in many specialties, including hospital, clinic, long-term care, and home-based environments in both rural and urban healthcare and settings. I currently work as a Nurse Informaticist for the VA and have an informatics nursing certification. Throughout my career, I have always embraced the opportunity to educate adult learners.
