About Me

As an instructor and clinical supervisor in the speech-language pathology department, my work focuses on guiding students through clinical education with an emphasis on evidence-based practice, hands-on learning, and respect for individuals of all ages and abilities. I value the supportive faculty culture and enjoy collaborating with other faculty across disciplines to create interdisciplinary learning experiences for students.

Why I’m At Mary

The University of Mary’s Benedictine identity reflects how I practice speech-language pathology—supporting every individual while partnering with families and communities. It is a setting where servant leadership and academic excellence uniquely blend.

Expertise

My professional experience centers on pediatrics within early intervention and outpatient clinical settings. Areas of interest include speech and language development, caregiver coaching, cleft lip and palate, hearing loss, and pediatric feeding disorders. As a certified lactation specialist, I integrate lactation and speech-language pathology expertise to support infants with complex feeding challenges.
