JoAnn Schulzetenberg, MA
- Executive Director of Catholic Montessori Institute
About Me
With over 20 years of experience as a Montessori guide, leader, and consultant, I have dedicated my career to advancing high-fidelity Catholic Montessori education across private, public charter, and training settings. I have served as an adjunct and mentor to numerous student teachers. My work has included leading Montessori transitions, most notably at Christ the King Catholic School in ND, and consulting nationally with training centers. I currently serve as Head of School at The Way of the Shepherd and have pursued advanced formation in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and AMI adolescent studies.
Why I’m At MaryGod has continually drawn me back to the University of Mary in deeply providential ways. I first experienced its mission as a student, forming lifelong friendships, then returned to serve with my husband on the Rome Campus, accompanying students in the heart of the Church. Now, I return to launch the Catholic Montessori Institute, building a global community of educators.
Expertise
As a Montessori Elementary guide, leader, national speaker and consultant, I have led high-fidelity Montessori implementation across Catholic, private, and public charter settings. I have served as an adjunct instructor and consultant and currently serve as Head of School while advancing Catholic Montessori formation worldwide. In addition to my roles, my biggest joy is raising 7 Catholic Montessori children.
