Gemma Hagen
About Me
Having lived in North Dakota for several years, I have grown to appreciate the beauty of this state. I came to the University of Mary to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and experienced deep conviction in the mission of this community while I was a student here. After graduating, my husband and I were married, and we now have two children, who bring us much joy and laughter. I have been a residence director for over two years and enjoy working directly with the students under my care, inspiring them to greater virtue and maturity as they experience what the University of Mary has to offer them.
Why I’m At MaryThe University of Mary is a strong community whose mission is to form the whole person. As a residence director, I am privileged to cooperate with this mission by opening the eyes of students to how their time here equips them to learn who they are, what they are made for, and how to receive life as a gift from God.
