Emily Schommer
About Me
I grew up in the beautiful small town of New Ulm, MN. There my parents raised my brothers and I to love three things: faith, family, and sports. While a student at the University of Mary, I grew to known God, others, and myself on a deeper level. After graduating in the Spring of 2026, I accepted and began a position as the Student Involvement Coordinator, which gives me the opportunity to serve students in a particular way through activities. Working alongside students gives me great joy!
Why I’m At MaryI couldn't have imagined beginning my career anywhere other than the University of Mary. It's authentic identity as Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine lays out a beautiful blueprint of a truly joyful life. Every day I get to say "yes" to the mission and values of this University, which serves the region and beyond.
