About Me

At the University of Mary we focus on encouraging student growth in spirituality and ethics, communication, critical thinking, and global stewardship. In my classes, I work to offer opportunities to engage in each of these areas. By also seeking to understand different viewpoints, students become able to arrive at and share their own thoughts and conclusions much more clearly with others. Today more than ever, I believe that formation of the whole person and development of the ability to think and communicate effectively sets people apart personally and professionally, in whatever their chosen fields may be.

Why I’m At Mary

The Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission is what attracts me most to the University of Mary. The gift of self is an underlying theme in our rich Christian, Catholic faith, and the Benedictine tradition. Through teaching, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with students in the classroom and beyond, to help prepare them to serve the common good.
