About Me

I was named the University of Mary's first full-time Sports Information Director by Hall of Fame coach and athletic director Al Bortke in August 2006 as we started NCAA and Northern Sun competition. During games you can find me doing anything from game statistics, writing stories, posting on social media, and taking photos; to calling a game for the webcast or serving as the PA announcer.

The liaison for Marauders athletics to our media and fans, I maintain GoUMary.com, chair the Hall of Fame, and more.

In addition to having one of the most interesting and wide-ranging jobs on campus, I'm lucky enough that both my daughters as UMary students have worked with me during games.

Why I’m At Mary

The opportunity to do something I enjoy while working alongside coaches, faculty, and staff at the University of Mary who desire nothing more than developing our students to their fullest potential makes every day on campus one to cherish.

Expertise

I've spent my career in the communication field and have developed my storytelling skills through writing, photography, social media, and more.

Education

BA (Public Relations): University of North Dakota, 1989
