About Me

I am the Internship Program Director and a school administration instructor in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Mary. I hold an EdD from the University of North Dakota in Educational Leadership; a specialist degree in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University; a master's in School Administration from Northern State University; and a BS in Business Education from Minot State University. I have 33 years of experience as a K-12 educator in North Dakota, serving as a high school business teacher, coach, co-principal, and for the last 20 years of my career as a school superintendent. I served on the North Dakota State Board for Public Education; I also served on the North Dakota State Board for Career and Technical Education for 14 years. For the past six years, I have served as the president of both boards.

Why I’m At Mary
