Residence Life at the University of Mary
Located atop a bluff overlooking the Missouri River and the City of Bismarck, our main campus is an inspiring place to learn and live, with a wealth of opportunities for intellectual, spiritual, and cultural enrichment—rooted in Christian, Catholic, Benedictine values. Even more than the boundless opportunities and spectacular views, you will be impressed by a community of students and educators who support each other and seek to lead in the service of truth.
Why Live on Campus?
The University of Mary requires all students under the age of 21 to live on campus for five semesters. Not only does it help to strengthen the sense of community, living on campus can improve your grades, make it easier to meet new friends, and enable you to take part in fun campus activities that will enrich your college experience. It’s also a great value: In addition to saving money on gas, groceries, and dining out, on-campus students enjoy high-speed Internet service, Cable TV, local phone, heat, electricity, computer labs, and free use of laundry facilities. And while off-campus students are getting up early to prepare for their commute, you will be sleeping in a bit longer because your classes are just a short walk away!
