Financial Aid: Summer Aid

If you are taking summer classes and meet certain minimum enrollment and eligibility requirements, you may qualify for federal financial aid during the summer term.

To be considered for summer semester financial aid, you must take a minimum of six (6) credits as an undergraduate student or five (5) credits as a graduate student.

You must complete the 2016-2017 FAFSA and/or the 2017-2018 FAFSA.

Due to federal regulations regarding maximum annual loan limits, any loan you receive in your summer semester may decrease your eligibility for loans in the following academic year. You cannot receive federal financial assistance after the summer semester is finished, so complete your FAFSA early.

If you do not have remaining loan eligibility due to graduation or aggregate loan issues, you may need to apply for funding through alternative sources. Please contact our office at (701) 355-8079 with any questions.
