Greeting and Blessing from Monsignor Shea to the 2020 graduates

At 2pm on April 25, 2020, Monsignor James Shea, president of the University of Mary, will offer words of encouragement and a blessing to those who were scheduled to participate in Commencement at that time and to their families.

Commencement 2020 is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s graduates, the Class of 2020, are warmly invited to attend Commencement 2021 (April 24, 2021, 2:30pm), where the celebration of their achievements will be fully integrated.

Looking back to where it all began

Many of our students graduating this year first stepped onto campus in the fall of 2016. Roers Hall had just opened, and the Lumen Vitae University Center, Gift Hill Cross, and the Marian Grotto were still under construction. Our students have grown alongside the university these past 4 years (or 2.6 for our Year-Round Campus grads!), and we're honored by the young men and women they've become. Here's a look back at their first day at Mary!
