Campus Ministry serves the spiritual needs of the University of Mary community by offering retreats, studies in sacred scripture, prayer groups, celebration of the sacraments, music and song, faith-sharing, volunteer opportunities, and social gatherings. We affirm the values of each individual and assist with his or her faith development. We're located on the ground level of the Clairmont Center for Performing Arts. Everyone is welcome to Benet Chapel, the Campus Ministry Office, and the "Fire Pit" (student gathering room). Our mission is to offer a place where Christian community happens. Through the various ministries offered, we strive to bring Christ to people and people to Christ. Since faith development of students is a primary concern, the University of Mary strongly encourages the practice of one's personal religious beliefs. The University of Mary community, in keeping with its Catholic tradition, celebrates Eucharistic Liturgy Sunday through Friday in Benet Chapel, which is located on the ground level of the Clairmont Center for Performing Arts. In a spirit of ecumenism, the community also schedules regular interdenominational prayer services to enable students, faculty, and staff to attend these liturgies and prayer services.
