University of Mary Concert Choir

Open to all U-Mary students who love to sing, Concert Choir meets M-F at 11 am and performs a wide variety of high quality choral literature at a number of events on and off campus, including the annual production of Christmas at Mary. Directed by Dr. Tom Porter, recent programs have included choral masterworks such as Sainte Chapelle by Eric Whitacre, Magnificat by Arvo Pärt, Tota pulchra es by Ola Gjeilo, Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened by G.F. Handel, and Carmina Burana by Orff and the Mozart Requiem with the Bismarck-Mandan Civic Chorus and Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra. Recent tours include North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, and Illinois, as well as Austria and Italy.

Students of all majors are welcome. Register for MUS 212; audition not required.
