Wolf Leads Marauders to Win, Entwisle and Thompson Again Finish Strong


Bemidji, MN - Freshman Dakota Wolf led the University of Mary women's cross country team to a dominating team win at the Greenwood Run hosted by Bemidji State as the Marauders five of the top ten spots and seven out of 13. Eamin Entwisle paced the Marauders men to a second place finish after placing third.

Wolf claimed a third place finish in the 5k run, placing just ahead of teammates Irene Kosgei and Jennifer Agnew. Wolf toured the course in 19:07.81, followed by Kosgei in fourth (19:14.99) and Agnew in fifth (19:15.40). Kristen Neumiller (19:40.17) grabbed eighth and Alyson Piccolo tenth (19:58.10).

Also competing for U-Mary was Melissa Agnew (20:02.29), who placed 11th, Emilee Morehouse (13th, 20:14.84), and Alicia Nehl (23rd, 22:08.59).

The Marauders won the women' crown with 30 points, ahead of Jamestown College (46), Minnesota State (57) and Bemidji State (106).

Entwisle had his second straight strong performance, finishing the 8k course in a time of 26:40.53 for third place. Teammate Taylor Thompson snagged fifth with another stellar performance in 26:59.22.

Eric Mohrbacher was third for the U-Mary men and 14th overall (28:56.99), followed by Casy Jore (19th, 29:39.57), Nathan Stamstad (25th, 31:03.89) and Quincey Pierce (26th, 31:13.43).

Minnesota State University claimed the men's title with 20 points, followed by U-Mary with 54 and Jamestown College with 80.
