Pueblo, CO - University of Mary senior Jennifer Agnew placed third in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships to earn All-American honors in the event for the second straight year.

Agnew Twins Highlight Opening Day for Marauders at NCAA Outdoor Championships
All-American hopes continue for two University of Mary seniors while two other Marauders had their outstanding careers come to a close today at the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Melissa Agnew and Jennifer Agnew both advance to the finals while Tracy Lide and Alicia Nehl fell just short in their bids to continue competing.

Jennifer Agnew, Melissa Walker Headline 11 Marauders Earning USTFCCCA All-Region Status
New Orleans – Jennifer Agnew and Melissa Walker headline the University of Mary's 2013 All-Central Region selections by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The two seniors were both double recipients and 11 members of the Marauders men's and women's outdoor track and field athletes combined to earn 13 regional honors.

Thorson, Agnew Named USTFCCCA Central Region Coach, Athlete of the Year
New Orleans – Two of track and field's most honored individuals continue to garner accolades. Fresh off another conference crown, University of Mary Head Track and Field Coach Mike Thorson was named the Central Region Women's Outdoor Coach of the Year and 11-time All-American Melissa Agnew earned Central Region Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Marauders Rounds Out 2013 Recruiting Class with DeLaSalle Guard Luke Scott
Bismarck, ND – The University of Mary has rounded out its 2013 men's basketball recruiting class with the addition of Luke Scott, who helped lead DeLaSalle High School to back-to-back Minnesota 3A state championships. Marauders Head Coach Jevin Budde announced the commitment of the Islanders team captain to continue his education and play basketball at U-Mary.

Kyal WIllams Named to Daktronics Baseball All-Region Second Team
St. Paul, MN – Headlining an improved pitching staff and playing a key offensive role, University of Mary senior Kyal Williams was named to the 2013 Daktronics Baseball All-Central Region second team as a utility player/pitcher. Williams becomes the Marauders first all-region selection since Mike Feldman in 2008.

U-Mary Finishes in Top Half of the 2012-13 NSIC/US Bank All-Sports Final Standings
Burnsville, MN – With three spring sports matching or exceeding last year's performances, the University of Mary used the improvements to finish in the top half of the league in the 2012-13 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference / U.S. Bank All-Sports Award standings. The Marauders placed eighth overall in the 16 member NSIC.
