The only thing sweeter than making the most decadent desserts is being able to taste them — and knowing that the money raised at such an event is going to a great cause.
The University of Mary Collegiate DECA chapter invites the public to treat itself to the fourth annual DECAdent Desserts event on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the IDEA Center, 2720 E. Broadway Ave. #2, Bismarck. Sample some of the tastiest treats in town while supporting U-Mary's Marauders on Business (MOBStars) Collegiate DECA club. Money raised will help our members attend the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Washington, DC, in April.
For only $8 a ticket you will be able to sample decadent desserts from local entrepreneurs. Judges include Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem, "Too Tall Tom" Szymanski, Anne Jones from MDU, Bryan Klipfel of WSI and University of Mary President Monsignor James Shea. Your ticket also allows you to help select the People's Choice Award. Come and see if East 40 will defend its title and sample other yummy desserts. Tickets are not available at the door so reserve your tickets today by calling Karel Sovak at 355-8042 or emailing email@example.com.
