BISMARCK, ND-Artists Celebrating Christ (ACC), a unique interdenominational event, will bring together Christian artists from across the nation at the University of Mary, March 22-25, 2012. The event, to be held in the university's Benedictine Center and the adjoining Gary Tharaldson School of Business, provides an opportunity to exhibit all forms of Christian art in a supportive atmosphere that inspires creativity and revives the use of the arts to enhance the worship experience.

Highlights of the weekend include a juried art show featuring the work of artists from across the country, artwork from young area students, art classes and tours of the exhibits for students, and a Quick Draw and Silent Auction. On Saturday, March 24, two wonderful speakers will be presenting: Dr. Denis McNamara, a specialist in church architecture from Mundelein Seminary in Illinois, will speak on "Liturgy, Beauty and Heaven," and David J.P. Hooker, associate professor of art at Wheaton College in Illinois, will discuss contemporary Sculpture. In previous years, ACC events have drawn nearly 1,800 spectators from the Bismarck-Mandan area and beyond.

In the spirit of service and stewardship, proceeds after expenses will benefit ND Teen Challenge.

- 4 p.m.-5 p.m. Quick Draw/Reception. ND Teen Challenge Choir will perform after the Quick Draw.
