Facutly Position- Social Work Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences
The University of Mary, Bismarck, ND, is seeking a qualified candidate for a full time Social Work faculty position in its Social Work Program beginning January of 2014.
The Social Work Program is housed in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. The University of Mary, a center of learning in the Benedictine tradition, has a three-fold mission: teaching, scholarly study including research, and service. It is the responsibility of all faculty members to support and advance the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission of the University of Mary and to implement the principles of Ex Corde Ecclesiae.

Summary of Position: The position is responsible for directing internship and practicum experiences for our Junior and Senior social work majors, and reports to the Chair of the Department of Behavioral Sciences in the Liffrig Family School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. Responsibilities for this position include teaching, supervising field experiences and advising social work students. The requirements for this position are:
* Ph.D./DSW in Social Work preferred
* Minimum of two years post-MSW practice experience
* North Dakota social work licensure required prior to beginning employment
* College teaching experience preferred
