Faculty-Department of Biology
The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, invites applications for a faculty position in the department of biology. Qualified applicants will have a PhD in biology or a related field. The successful candidate will teach courses (both lecture and laboratory components) in microbiology, parasitology, and general biology, with the possibility of developing a course in his/her area of expertise. The candidate should be comfortable teaching courses in both a traditional and online format, and should be interested in undergraduate research. Candidates must be enthusiastic about teaching, learning, and advising, be interested in supporting and strengthening the pre-med curriculum, and must demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. The successful candidate has the potential to participate in Catholic Studies, the University of Mary Rome Program, and the Emerging Leaders Academy.
