Faculty-Financial Services and Banking
The University of Mary program in Financial Services and Banking invites applications for a full-time faculty position beginning in fall 2013 or spring 2014. The successful candidate will teach full-time. Preferred areas of teaching expertise include Personal Financial Planning, Money and Banking, Retirement Planning, Financial Management, Insurance/Risk Management, Investments, and Estate Planning. The successful candidate is expected to teach in the professional program, participate in service activities (school, university, and professional), advise undergraduate students and the Student Equity Club, and maintain currency in the field.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
* Masterís degree in the finance area
* Willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.
Preference will be given to applicants with an earned academic doctoral degree in finance or a related discipline, prior academic teaching experience and certification in financial planning.
Application review will begin in August 2013 and will continue until the position is filled. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
