Position: The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the assistant (possibly the associate) professor level. The successful candidate would be jointly appointed to Catholic Studies and the Department of Language and Literature. The Department of Language and Literature is seeking a generalist who can teach a variety of composition and literature courses at the undergraduate level (specialty open). In addition, as a member of the Catholic Studies Program, the candidate must demonstrate enduring interest in the Catholic literary tradition. The position begins August 2014.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in English required (ABD considered if Ph.D. completed prior to employment). Applicants must be student-centered with enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
