The University of Mary is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in the Department of Occupational Therapy. The position would begin January 6, 2014. This is a 9 month plus 2 month (summer) position.
Summary of Position: The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator will plan, develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate the student Level I and II fieldwork experiences within the University of Mary Occupational Therapy Program. Responsibilities also include teaching in areas of expertise and supervising graduate research projects, active participation in scholarly activities, student advisement, and service to the University, community, and profession.
Minimum Criteria: The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator must be an Occupational Therapist with a minimum earned masterís degree, licensed or eligible for licensure in North Dakota.. The successful candidate will uphold the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.
This position is directly supervised by the Occupational Therapy Program Director. The curriculum has a strong foundation in occupation, evidence-based practice and client-centered practice. Successful candidates will join an experienced faculty with diverse clinical and educational backgrounds.
