The Human and Social Science Department at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, invites applications for a faculty position at the level of assistant or associate professor. Qualified applicants will have a PhD in Economics or a closely related field. The successful candidate will be able to teach the following courses: Economics of Social Issues, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, The History of Economic Thought, and Economic Policy Alternatives. The ideal candidate would also be able to teach a section of a core course in Responsible Citizenship. The candidate should be comfortable teaching courses in both a traditional and online format. Successful candidates have opportunities to participate in university wide programs such as teaching a semester in Rome, Catholic Studies, and the Emerging Leaders Academy. Candidates must be enthusiastic about teaching, learning, and advising, and must demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.
