The University of Mary Occupational Therapy Program is seeking two qualified candidates for full-time (9 month) faculty positions beginning in August 2015. One of these positions is at the Bismarck campus and the other is at the Billings, MT campus.
The University of Mary overlooks the beautiful Missouri river, with its main campus located in Bismarck, North Dakota, a community of approximately 80,000 people, with wonderful family and parish life, friendly neighborhoods, enjoyable recreational and cultural facilities, a low crime rate, clean air, and excellent schools. The Occupational Therapy Program has a distance cohort in Billings, MT, which is a community of 104,000, near the Rocky Mountain with exceptional recreational activities, excellent schools, and community life.
The University of Mary is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and the Occupational Therapy Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching occupational therapy courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, advising, conducting/ supervising research, and engaging in department and university service. All faculty are expected to demonstrate a willingness to support and advance the Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission and identity of the University of Mary.
Qualifications: Applicant must be licensed or eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the states of North Dakota and Montana; have 5 years minimum clinical practice in the area of adult physical disabilities; a terminal degree, with PhD preferred; teaching experience preferred.
