The University of Mary School of Accelerated and Distance Education has been accredited by The Higher Learning Commission.

The University of Mary Division of Education is accredited by the North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board.

The four departments within the University of Mary Division of Human Performance Science have all earned national endorsement or accreditation through their respective accrediting agencies. The University of Mary Exercise Science Program is endorsed by the American Academy of Sports Medicine; Athletic Training is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Athletic Training Education; Occupational Therapy is accredited by Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education; and Physical Therapy is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapist Education.

The University of Mary Nursing baccalaureate and master's programs are approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The University of Mary Respiratory Therapy Program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.

The University of Mary Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education Program through the Joint Review Commission on Education Programs in Athletic Training.
