Academic Advisor/Science Tutor
 
The University of Mary’s Student Support Services (SSS) Program is seeking an individual to fill the position of Academic Advisor /Professional Level Science Tutor. This appointment is part-time at 30 hours/week beginning September 1, 2010 and ending April 29, 2011. Duties for this position include orientation instruction, academic advising and tutoring for the SSS Program. Qualifications for this position include a minimum of a Master’s degree in biology with two years of experience in advising, teaching or tutoring. A Bachelor’s degree in biology with five years of experience in advising, teaching or tutoring is also acceptable. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. Student Support Services is a Title IV U.S. Department of Education grant program. All employment contracts are tentative and dependent on an annual appropriation of grant funds from the U.S. Department of Education. To apply send a cover letter, resume and college transcript to:
