The University of Mary’s Student Support Services (SSS) Program is seeking an individual to fill the position of Academic Advisor /Professional Level Science Tutor. This appointment is part-time at 30 hours/week beginning September 1, 2010 and ending April 29, 2011. Duties for this position include orientation instruction, academic advising and tutoring for the SSS Program. Qualifications for this position include a minimum of a Master’s degree in biology with two years of experience in advising, teaching or tutoring. A Bachelor’s degree in biology with five years of experience in advising, teaching or tutoring is also acceptable. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to support the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary. Student Support Services is a Title IV U.S. Department of Education grant program.
