One of the nation’s top academic teams, the Marauders are also making strong advances on the mat while competing in arguably the top wrestling conference and region in the country. U-Mary grapplers posted the seventh-best team grade point average in the country in 2011 and four student-athletes gained Academic All-American honors. Since the Marauders wrestling program was established in 1987-88, U-Mary has had 14 national champions and 88 All-Americans.
