The first athletic program in school history, U-Mary men’s basketball home games are a must-see events for students and the community. Featuring one of the nation’s top teams, the Marauders play in front of a packed house and a raucous crowd at the McDowell Activity Center. For the first time, U-Mary earned a national ranking in the NCAA polls and qualified for the NCAA regional tournament in 2011. The Marauders compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, one of the nation’s best athletic conferences, and are members of NCAA Division II.
