With a master's degree in education and 10 years of service as a teacher, counselor, and administrator in the St. Louis Archdiocesan high schools, the Most Rev. Paul A. Zipfel has been a champion of Catholic education throughout his priestly life. Now as he retires as the sixth bishop of the Diocese of Bismarck, he is being recognized by the University of Mary, America's Leadership University, with the naming of its new Catholic Studies Program in his honor. Oct. 19, 2010, close to 200 friends and members of the community gathered to pay tribute to Zipfel for his commitment to Catholic education. More >>>

Chamber Concert To Be Held Nov. 14
University of Mary woodwind and brass students have been sharing their love of music all semester, and are gearing up for a performance at the University of Mary. The concert will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, in R.M. Heskett Hall, and features a woodwind septet, saxophone quartet, flute/oboe quartet, and trombone quartet. More >>

Youth Fastpitch Softball Clinics Remain In November!
Youth fastpitch softball clinics focusing on pitching, hitting and defense will be offered by the University of Mary softball program in November. Two of the sessions cover pitching and hitting, and a third covers the fundamentals of playing the infield and the outfield. More >>
Mauraders Baseball Camp Set For Dec. 27-29
The 2010 Marauders Baseball Camp will teach infield, outfield, pitching, catching, base running and hitting skills for players in grades three through 12. Directed by Marauders baseball Head Coach Brad Walsh, the camp is set for December 27-29 in the Leach Fieldhouse on the University of Mary Campus. More >>

Facing their second straight NCAA Division I foe, the University of Mary kicked its offense into high gear and sprinted past Weber State 83-68 in women's exhibition basketball. More >>
Oyloe Blocks Field Goal Attempt to Preserve Marauders Win Over Warriors, Lomax Sets Career Rushing Record
The third time's the charm. Twice this season U-Mary held the lead entering the final minute of play but couldn't hold on for the win. Today, John Oyloe blocked a 43 yard field goal attempt by Winona State University on the final play of the game to preserve a 21-19 win for the Marauders. More >>
Trio of Marauders Earn All-NSIC Soccer Honors
Keying a defense that allowed one goal in its last five games, University of Mary defenders Amy Tanaka and Megan Hellrung received 2010 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Soccer All-Conference recognition today. Both earned a spot on the third unit. Additionally, freshman midfielder Alex Bachman-Williams was awarded honorable mention acclaim. More >>
