Courses In Classics, Italian Join U-Mary Offerings
From the study of the city recognized as a cornerstone of Western civilization and the center of Christianity, to an introduction to the ancient language that influenced many modern Western tongues, the classics have come to the University of Mary. A limited number of complimentary tickets to the University of Mary football game against Augustana are available at local American Bank Centers. The Marauders host the Vikings on Saturday, Sept. 17. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Bismarck Community Bowl. More>>
U-Mary Alumni Association At AppleFest
In keeping with our goal of having more of a presence in the Bismarck-Mandan community, the Alumni Association will be sponsoring a table at the Bismarck Cancer Center's annual Applefest ( the weekend of Sept. 24-25 at Buckstop Junction in Bismarck. We're looking for alumni volunteers to help staff our table, which will offer items for sale, information on graduate programs, and brochures about 2011 Homecoming. If you would be willing to fill a two-hour shift, e-mail [email protected] for times and additional information. Even if you can't do table duty, come out for a while to support this worthwhile cause and stop by the U-Mary Alumni Association table to say "hello!"
Alum! Share Your Crafts & Talents At The Homecoming Pre-Game
On Oct. 22

As part of Homecoming 2011 pre-game activities, we're giving alumni the opportunity to "show their stuff" -- and sell it -- in a special area with the Alumni Association information/ticket table. If you create, produce or sell handmade items like what you'd see at a street fair, we'd love to hear from you. If you've ever thought about earning a graduate degree, the U-Mary Graduate Studies Fair, Thursday, Oct. 6, is the place to be! Learn about graduate and military programs outside University Dining Hall (North Cafeteria) from
11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Don't miss this chance to gather information and materials and speak directly with program directors. In addition to U-Mary's graduate offerings, programs represented will include UND Law, UND Grad School, NDSU Grad School, William Mitchell College of Law, Minot State University and College of St. Scholastica.
