Join us for a lively weekend of football, soccer, fun, and fellowship. With a Varsity Club Booster Luncheon, the Alumni Homecoming Dance, two women's soccer games, and the Homecoming football game against Minnesota Crookston, there will be lots of great opportunities to meet old friends and make new ones.

Bill Daniel, '77, will be presented with the Harold Schafer Alumni Leadership Award, and Larissa Hall, '05 & '08, will be recognized with the University of Mary Bell Banner Award, at the annual Alumni Recognition Awards and Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, Friday, Oct. 1. Nicole Benedict, '07 & '10, will enter the Hall of Fame as Outstanding Athlete, Women's Soccer; Thai (Goecke) Haggin, '01, as Outstanding Athlete Women's Basketball; Shandi Hertz-Kenna, '02, as Outstanding Athlete, Women's Track and Field/Cross Country; and Brock Thompson, '00, as Outstanding Athlete, Men's Soccer. With the University of Mary's first-day-of-school fall enrollment count of 2,940 students, indications are that America's Leadership University will surpass the 3,000 mark. More >>

University of Mary President Father James Shea to Speak in Jamestown
Father James Shea, president of the University of Mary, will be the speaker for the annual Spiritual Appetizer presented by St. James Tabernacle Society at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, at the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND. Join Us in Exploring the Sacred Art of Tibet
Tibetan Buddhist monk Venerable Ngawang Chojor will visit the University of Mary campus Tuesday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 24. During this time he will create a sand mandala in Chick's Place. And a convocation, "Sacred Art of Tibet," Sept. 23, at 11 a.m., in Heskett Hall, will explore the outer, inner, and sacred meanings of the sand mandala and its cultural foundations. More >>

Fifty-five University of Mary student-athletes are 2009-'10 recipients of the Division II Athletic Director Association (DII ADA) Academic Achievement Awards presented by WeatherPORT.
