Northern Sun Honors U-Mary With 2010 Sportsmanship Award

The University of Mary received the 2010 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Sportsmanship Award in recognition of the positive conduct exhibited throughout last season by everyone associated with Marauders athletics, from student-athletes to fans in the stands.
A member of the Northern Sun since 2006, this is the first time U-Mary has captured the prestigious Sportsmanship Award, presented at the NSIC Hall of Fame banquet on Tuesday, July 14.

The University of Mary has restructured its academic services, moving from divisional units to schools, headed by deans. Marauders Herald the 2010 University of Mary Football Season With the Annual University of Mary Football Media Day
U-Mary friends, fans and media joined veteran Marauders Head Football Coach Myron Schulz, assistant coaches, and team members Aug. 5, preceding the first 2010 practice, for a perspective on the upcoming season. With 40 letter winners and 13 starters returning, the Marauders open the regular season at perennial national power Chadron State College on Aug. 28. After a week off, U-Mary makes its home debut on Sept. 11, when the Marauders host the Mustangs of Southwest Minnesota State University to open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.
