U-Mary Alumni Association To Sponsor/Serve At The Banquet, April 4; Get Together With Your Mary Friends & Volunteer!
On Thursday, April 4, 2013, the Alumni Association will take part in The Banquet, to be held in the basement of Trinity Lutheran Church. Begun in 2005 to serve Thursday evening meals and provide companionship to people in need,
The Banquet provides a complete, hot, home-cooked meal, and is free to anyone who attends -- no questions asked. The Alumni Association is currently accepting volunteers to help with food preparation, set-up, serving the meal, and cleanup. Volunteer shifts are 1 p.m. - 8 p.m., 4:15 p.m. - 8 p.m., and 5:10 p.m. - 8 p.m. For more information, or to volunteer, please contact Paul Keeney, director of alumni, at 355-8370 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
U-Mary Student Author Shares Story At Feb. 14 Convocation
Published North Dakota novelist and U-Mary English major Sonni Lagodinski will speak about finding her passion and her incredible journey while writing "Forever and Always" and "Never Forget," on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 11 am, in Butler Hall. Free and open to all.
Join Us For A Marauders Coaches Luncheon This Friday, Feb. 15
A Coaches Luncheon will be held at noon on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Elks Club. All Marauders fans are welcome to attend as U-Mary coaches discuss the upcoming weekend's home games. Lunch is $5.

Mark Your Calendar For U-Mary's April Spring Theater Production, Written By Mary Student Joseph Smith
"The Comically, Tragically Historical Adventures of Alexander the Great (and friends)." The original play, which whimsically portrays the events, conquests and travels of Alexander the Great during his short reign, will be performed Thursday, April 4 - Sunday, April 7. Show time is 7:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 regular admission/$4 for seniors and high school students; call 355-8263 to reserve yours.
