![]() University of Mary Welcomes New Director Of Alumni ![]() Erin Hill-Oban, '04, has come back to U-Mary as director of alumni. A former math-teaching major and business administration minor, she has a strong history of service and leadership. Most recently state scheduler and office manager for former Congressman Earl Pomeroy and prior to that, a teacher at Cathedral School, she brings proven organizational and planning skills, energy and commitment to the position. Having joined the U-Mary Alumni Council in 2007, and served as its secretary for 2010, Erin is excited about the prospect of building on the solid foundation established by previous Director of Alumni Sister Denise Ressler, OSB. "We're eager to explore new ways to grow the Alumni Association by engaging alum, current students and the community, and taking an expanded, team approach to our traditional activities," she says. "We're also hoping to develop some exciting new initiatives that will bring us together while helping us carry forward U-Mary's Benedictine values in other arenas. "The University of Mary and its alumni have a lot to be proud of. And we're hoping that looking at some of the things other college alumni organizations are doing and exploring the options afforded by today's technology will enable us to strengthen our connection to each other and our alma mater and make an even more meaningful contribution to the future of the university." Believing "the more input, the better," Erin welcomes your ideas and comments at elhilloban@umary.edu.
