Marauders Softball Team Defeats Bemidji 3-1: Marauders pitcher Ashley Watson of Qualicum, Beach BC, got stronger as the game went on striking out several batters in crucial situations. Sami Antolin of Campbell, CA provided the offensive spark that tied the game at 1 all in the bottom of the 5th inning. Then in the bottom of the 8th inning she scorched a double off the centerfield fence. Desiree Smith from Eagan, MN, then ended the game with a home run blast to left centerfield scoring Antolin and herself. (Wednesday, April 7, 2010)
