Completed in 1968 as one of the four facilities comprising the original campus complex designed by the world-renowned architect, Marcel Breuer, University Hall includes the University Dining Hall with a beautiful view of the Missouri River and Apple Creek Valley, a small meeting room known as the Founders Room, and a lounge area on its main level.
Lower level includes:
University Bookstore and Mart stocked with University of Mary apparel and merchandise, textbooks, snacks and beverages, other incidental items for residence rooms or school supplies.
Student Health Clinic operated by Mid Dakota Clinic and staffed by a nurse practitioner able to diagnose and meet common health needs and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Marauder Cove Coffee Shop, one of two campus coffee shops, serving as a smaller student lounge with wireless internet.
Sister Thomas Welder Patio, an outdoor gathering area with plantings, tables, and seating, is located west of the University Bookstore and Mart. The patio includes a plaque with the text of the board of trustees' resolution recognizing Sister Thomas Welder's service as the university's fifth president from 1978 to 2009. It was dedicated in September 2010.
University Hall is a connecting link to the north campus residence hall, the Harold J. Miller Center, and the Leach Center for Student Life.
